Who We Are

Our Story,

Our Mission

For over 10 years we have been the home of Pukhtoon culture, language and community across Australia

Our Story

From a small gathering
to a national

community

The Pukhtoon Welfare Association is a not-for-profit organisation founded to support the wellbeing, cultural identity and integration of Pukhtoon across Australia. Built on the values of compassion, cultural pride and social responsibility, we serve as a bridge between our rich Pukhtoon heritage and our home in Australia — helping families and individuals navigate life in a new country while staying connected to their roots.
Over the years we have grown into a national organisation with members across multiple cities, running cultural events, language programs, youth initiatives and settlement support for thousands of Pukhtoons in Australia.
